TRIP REVIEW: Kukup ( Malaysia )

Went Kukup last weekend... and after travelling for like 4 hrs or so, I reached Kukup. Kukup has nothing much to see. Reallie. Its just a very small town with a few stalls selling seafood. Yah that's all.

Kukup is a fishing village in Malaysia. Singaporeans used to frequent Kukup because seafood there was relatively cheap. However, last Sunday when I went there, I cant find any Singapore registered car... Haha, that means that I was probably the only tourist from Singapore.

Overall review: Yah, the price of seafood there is still cheaper than the price of seafood in Singapore but its reallie not worth the time and effort to travel so far up west for their Seafood.

Eh I reallie run out of ideas of what to write about this trip review because there is reallie nothing interesting or fantastic to see at Kukup.

Sorrie for the lack of update these few days. Because I'm quite busy these days. BECAUSE I M WORKING!!!

Okay, dint update last wkend coz I went Kukup and Pontian. Eh Malaysia lah. Reallie nothing much there. Not worth the time travelling there. Its jus a small village wif reallie nothing to see there. Worse den Pulau Ubin! Haha.

And wkend passes so swiftly, Monday liao, its back to work again.But I'm not complaining lah. Coz working at IRAS was quite fun. Get to know a few crappy people and answer some reallie interesting calls. I would say that I am quite happy working there.

I need help from u guys. Anyone has any information like maps or wadeva about New Zealand? If got can lend me? Pls... I need it quite urgently as I am planning for my next long distance trip...

My 1st day of work in IRAS...
Its like school starts again. I am finally listening to tutorials agn... haha... So confusing.
Whatever. At least I am 'alive' again...

I am glad that I will be starting work tmr. I hate lazing around. Because I felt so useless doing nothing. And if I have nothing to do, I'll jus stick to my bed. And slack and slack and slack.

Definitely, I'll miss sleeping till late morning, slacking around and doing nothing kind of life that I had for the past month. But I cant just live my next 4 or 5 months like that. I need the S eleven sign!!! I need to work, I need life, I need something to recharge my cells and kill the 'laziness' bacteria that infested me..

But I'm working at IRAS for only a short term. So a month later - if I cant find another job -, I'll be contributing and increasing the percentage of Singapore's jobless rate. So friends, any job lobangs? Coz I'm reallie quite desperate. I can do any decent job that you list - of course with a decent pay.

I am a workacholic. I can work and work and work and skip lunch just to work. Hey I am serious ok. Dun see me so slack in army - tt's because I'm in ORD mood. U see when I first step into medical centre and work with Dr Md Idu, we work from 8 to 6 non stop, onli the 5 min break during lunchtime for lunch! And yar, I am still working while eating!

I'm young, I have yet to explore on many things. I want to achieve my goals...

Today marks the last day of my 'probation' driving. From tmr onwards, I do not need to display the ulgy triangular plate anymore. Yey!

U see, told u that I am a good and responsible driver. Nvr get any points deducted lor. Haha

Ok wadeva, anyway, I am quite excited because my dad is going to change our family car... To the car which I'd always been toking about in my previous blog entry. But we will only be getting the car on July as its currently out of stock due to overwhelming response.

And yes, I got back my pink IC today. Finally, after 2yrs 2 months of National Service! I am now officially a NS Man. Eh, I still don't know my reservist unit yet but I guess i would be an active guards batallion - sob -. Haha post up 2 army fotos for fun. Nerdy me! I went Suntec and Marina Square with my hokkien pingz frienz. And we had our dinner at the Marina Sq food court.
There was this stall selling roasted duck rice that caught my attention. Super long queue. And the way the butcher chop the meat was like SO SKILLFUL!

SO

I decide to test test! And, after queueing for half an hour.... zzZZZzzz, and yar. I made my friend wait for half an hour,,,,,,
resulttt??

The roasted duck rice was so so so disappointing. Meat was not tender... Duck skin was not fatty and not juicy... In oth words... KENA SAI! Wasted 30 minutes queueing for the roasted duck rice - when i can get better ones at any of the coffeeshop in SK!

I woke up in the morning feeling dizzy, coz not enuff slp these few days...
Aft tt, drove to my dad's office to pick him up and we headed to the showroom.
Of course we had our lunch first. Lunch was at Geylang. Wan Tan noodles. Much more delicious den those wan tan noodles in ate in HKG lor! Food in HKG is rather disappointing. Haha.

Haha so happen to meet the same sales person who clinched a car deal wif my dad 3 yrs ago. And surprisingly, she remembered my dad! haha. That was like Wow! 3 yrs leh... dun tell me her business is so bad that she got SO FEW customers in these 3 yrs - tt she rmb my dad. Ai ya, of course not lah.

So After introducing the car, we proceeded for a test drive. ( Some f+++ing idiot lorry almost rammed into me. He was travelling at the OPPOSITE DIRECTION and suddenly he jus cut into my lane. F+++ he dunno how to drive 1. Lucky I jam break. Scare the sales person manz! )

The engine of the car (1.8lit 16valve i-Vtec) was much more powerful den our current Civic (Vti). Of course, u cant compare it with Volvo or Merz. But certainly, its much better den Toyota Corolla (1.6L), Nissan Sunny and Mazda 6 (2.0L). As for smoothness, I find that Civic is the best - compared to Corolla, Sunna and Mazda6. Interior is spacious. I personally like the flat floor design at the back passenger seats.

Both the interior and the exterior design of the car is great. Sporty outlook.

Talking about SZX, Travel freaks, take note, Tiger Airways is promoting SZX airfares. $180 -return- per person incl airport tax. I would say its quite cheap. For people who are thinking of visiting HKG at a super value price, tk this offer. P.S. HKG shopping festival - if i m not wrong - is ard August.U can go dur tt time. Things there will be much cheaper den the same thing in Sgp during HKG shopping festival.
U can go SZX, stay there for a nite before crossing the border to HKG. Its really very very easy. ard 1hr to reach HKG city centre from SZX Lo Wu railway station. SZX has a lot to offer... Shopping ctrs, places of interests like wonders of the world, minature china etc etc, Deng Xiao Peng statue.. etc etc... But do becareful of pick pockets and snatch thieves...
Other airlines are also having extensive promotions too. SQ flight to DME(Moscow) cost $888+++ while BKK cost $90+++ ( i saw it in an advertisement at Yahoo! yesterday ). Haiya how nice if I haf more $$$. Too bad for me, not enuff $ else this break before sch starts is the best time for me to travel ard the world.

Just came back from tennis. Super duper shag. I m like an old ah pek playing. Oh no! haha. Super jialat.
Tmr I will be going to test drive the new Civic. Dunno if its gd. Design wise, I like it very much. Shall write a civic review tmr. Haha. Like the way I wrote my flight review <- but the prob is dunno if i can upload photos to my com or not. Sth wrong wif my com... haiz.
