Haha! So many things happened in Singapore since I left for Zurich a wk ago. Sth caught my attention - A musician got fined because he did not complete his National Service; Those NSFs who AWOL for just a day, eh consequence for them? Handcuffed.. Shave their head bald.. and they were put into the well known Prison in the west ( SAF detention barracks )! Doesnt make sense rite? SIngapore shd find a home for this musician at Changi! And when I mean Changi, I mean Changi Prison.
Ok start my topic of the day. - Zurich city. I was mesmerized by the picturesque scenery and the tranquility at Zurich City. Its certainly the best ever city I'd ever visited. Can consider Zurich a classy city? Saw posh looking Louis Vuitton and Gucci shop as I strolled down the narrow streets of the city. Eh Gucci handbags there cost much more than the same kind in Singapore.
And... Swiss people are so polite. They Greet, Smile and Thank to me even though, I never buy anything from them. Oh ya, their city is extremely clean. Roads have minimal pollution, steets are litter-free and toilets are so clean ( paid toilets cost Fr$1/2 = S$0.70 per visit ) that I don't mind sleeping in it!
Hello JY, wake up wake up!!! Face the realiaty! A gd city to live in? Yeah, but things are super expensive. A Mcdonald's meal can easily cost up to S$15 (medium size McChicken meal). And that's considered cheap in Switzerland. Well, cost of living there is indeed extremely high.
The Swiss does earn much more than what an average Singaporean earns! Not surprisingly, Merz and porche flooded their streets. Just merely 3hrs in Zurich, I saw countless Merz and 3 Porche! Well, I can't even find 1 Porche in Singapore even though I pass by Bt Timah area frequently.
Ok I'll stop here.
I fell in love with Switzerland!

Flight Review

Requested by one of my friend.... Flight review:
Qatar Airways: Sin - Zurich via Doha
My flight from Singapore to Doha was excellant. Comparable to SQ flights... Meal was great but a little oily - Cheesy Potatoes with grilled fish. The take off ( cosy blue lights were switched on, v gd ambience arh hah ) and landing was smooth - esp landing. I dint realise that the aircraft has landed until it came to a complete stop. I watched ( Bewitched ) inflight.

My flight from Doha to Zurich was relatively bad - partly because there was no inflight entertainment system. So I slept for the entire 7hr journey. Breakfast was great. Scrambled egg with cheese with mediterranean ratatouille herb mushroom and hashbrown

Qatar Airways: CDG - Sin via Doha
How should I describe the flight from Paris to Doha? Noisy? The French were standing up and talking loudly throughout the flight despite repeatedly being warned by cabin crews to get seated. Leave that aside, flight was gd. I watched Charlie and the chocolate factory inflight. Oh ya, leg space was wide too. I have more than enough space to move my legs.

And sad to say, I'm stuck in Doha Int Airport for a total of 5.5hrs due to - dun luff - they do not haf enough aerobridges.... Oh no!!!

Well, My flight from Doh - Sin was excellant too.. Overall, I feel that Qatar Airways is comparable to Singapore Airlines.

Slightly less than 24 hrs to go. Ánd I'll be off to Zurich...
And I'm so excited because I'd not flew for 6 months!
Well, I really like the feeling of taking a flight. I love the feeling when the plane takes off and lands... and the feeling of turbulance. Sounds crazy... Well, tt's me.
Maybe I should consider being an air steward. Hey pls dun luff. As easy as it may seems? Pui! The job of an air steward is actually quite demanding.
- being a waiter in an aeroplane is difficult due to space constrains, occasional turbulence etc etc.
- hafta meet the demands of unreasonable passengers
- hafta ensure the safety of every passenger
- stay calm during emergency
- know how to react
- the risk of flying... etc etc if i were to continue, u guys will fall asleep.
Well, at least being an air steward, I can fly more often, visit many different countries and gain experience in dealing with so called 'international customers'.
Anyway, I shall stop all my crap and hey! Switzerland here I come!!!! Whooosh!

Well, someone asked me what is an aeroplane model. Da da da da da da.... Boeing 747-400

I got a shock of my life when my friend actually tot that airbus is a vehicle that guides the plane to the runway. Well, basically, airbus is a brandname. Haha malu!

I ordered Mcdonald's delivary while doing duty yesterday. I was really impressed by its 'hypersonic' speed of delivary.
I called the Mcdonald's delivary hotline at 9pm. 1 Min later, the branch staffs called and told me that the delivaryman would be there in 3 mins. And yes, I got my meal just 4-5 mins after calling the delivary line! Fantastic! Gr8 job Mcdonald's.

Planning for my Paris free and easy trip.
And this is how messy my table is... (its like back to school days!) haha. Maybe I shd take a photo of my whole room instead. M-E-S-S-Y!

Well, browsing through travel guides can be interesting-if you luv to travel. I was mesmerized by the beautiful and snazzy city. Paris is, indeed, an ideal place for travellers. I can't wait to take a stroll at Champs Elysées, to enjoy myself at Eiffel Tower where I can have a paranomic view of City Paris, to visit 1998 World Cup Stadium @ St Denis and to indulge myself in cafes. I really can't wait to travel!

And ~oh ya... I haven't plan for my free and easy day at InterLaken - Switzerland. Shd be another busy wk for me...
