I will have to say tt you are a goondu if you don't know who Michelle Wie is.
Recently, she appears in the news almost everyday! Oh ya, and with a boring title - Michelle Wie turns pro. I'm not against her but I mean, what's so great about this radiant and statuesque 1.82m young lady ( apart from her looks ). Golf? But take a look at this, she's a golfer, her job is to play golf, of course, one day, she has to 'turn pro'. So wad's the big deal here? Because of her age? Well, partly, but I think 'Michelle Wie - a rising star' would be a more appropriate title to appear on the papers.
Conclusion: What we see is - sometimes - over exaggerating.
Well, lets get our mind off Michelle Wie. Another thing I wish to highlight is regarding Direct School Admission (DSA) exercise.
DSA exercise has enabled more than 3 per cent of this year's cohort of 51,200 Primary 6 pupils, to enter secondary schools of their choice even before the PSLE results are out! Like Michelle Wie, this group of pri 6 students are talented. They are classified as the rising stars of Singapore.
But is DSA fair? Definately not. Education does not match with sports. How can a gd player with bad results gain entrance to a top school in Singapore? Its like asking Wayne Rooney to teach Chinese and ask some professors to get ready for a game of soccer! Ridiculous!
I shant comment further... Its long enuff. If not readers will fall asleep. Haha...
