I can't fathom the idea of lining up Nissan Sunny, Mitsubishi Lancer, Hyundai and Kia cars alongside the likes of household items, potted plants, food stalls etc..... They cost $50,000 to $60,000 each. That easily fetches you probably 50,000 sticks of fishballs at a pasar malam...... We are talking about 'face' in our Asian society. Will you say 'Oh yes, I bought a Lancer from the pasar malam below my flat yesterday!' or 'I bought my car at XXX showroom?'
Well, I agree with her. I wonder who will purchase a car from pasar malam. Will you?
