I was at Takashimaya on Friday to shop for mooncakes. I was quite disgusted when I saw ugly Singaporeans gobbling up a voluminous share of mooncakes that were meant for (free) testing. Leave this aside. My main purpose was to buy a box of Champagne mooncake (Champagne mooncake- a delicacy from heaven!).
After a walk in a sea of kiasu Singaporeans, I declare taht champagne mooncakes had extinct and durian mookcakes'r in vogue.
P.S. Talking about durians, I hate durians. I have a phobia of durians. The thorny fruit with sticky flesh. And worse of all, it leaves a pungent smell in your mouth aft eating. Yucks!
No champagne mooncakes? Yupz, So I left Takashimaya with a box of Green tea flavoured mooncake.
