My dear and I spent our 1st year anniversary in Sentosa. It has been ages since I last visited Sentosa, it has became more modern... and more like a tourist area...

Went to Marche to have our favourite Rosti before heading down to Sentosa...

Took the Sentosa train to the beach first... Our purpose of visiting Sentosa that day was to watch the musical fountain show. And since I have not been to Sentosa for a very long time, I dint realise that the musical fountain has been replaced by 'Songs of the Sea' performance... Bought tickets to the show before heading for a stroll along Siloso Beach.

And this is the highlight of the day... Musical Fountain songs of the sea...
Look at the fireworks... Its a very very short musical... 30mins... But I'm sure my dearest darling like it very much... She has always wanted to watch this show... And she finally watch it with me on our 1st anniversary... Hehe.. Hope u like it dear...

Cobwebs everywhere in my blog. Hello everyone, Here I am, blogging again. Just a summary of the things i've done for the past few months.

June:
I finished my exams in May and I went Siem Reap and Phnom Penh somewhere in June. Cambodia was really hot. And not a very appealing destination to me. Unless u like to be tanned.... haha... No lah, unless u like to read about history, den Cambodia is a place for u.

And that is me... in Angkor Wat.

Yummy yummy food below... My dear and I celebrated our monthlyversary at Dome Dempsey Hill.

July:

Started work in Standard Chartered Bank in July. Working life = boring life. Nonetheless, I've spent my time wisely, since this is my last ever school holidays...

Early July, my ex-colleagues invited my gf and I to MAS dinner and dance.

Mid July, I went for a short getaway to Malaysia... And its shop, shop and shop... Haha...

Just to give a brief update on my blog.

But before that, haha eh, sorri bros, no updates on the stock market. If u all wan to buy shares, buy those that I have, push up the share price of those stocks I have ok... Haha.

First, my 22nd birthday.

Went to this dunno wad hotel for lunch with my family... Eh food there was ok... so so only. Not realli that fantastic.

At nite, I celebrated my 22nd birthday with my girlfriend at Grand Corpthorne...

Dinner was great... The food there was wonderful.. And seriously... its reallie reallie delicious. Thumbs up.

A wide range of food to choose from. International buffet. I like the cheesy thing - with potatoes, mushrooms. (because I dunno wad's the dish name).

And my girlfriend likes the round round potatoes...

Yupz, nice birthday celebration. And of course, my girlfriend gave me quite a few birthday presents which I dun haf the photos to display yet.

Finally, I can take half a day of rest today. Have been really busy for the past 2 weeks!
Stayed till 3am ytd nite for Yen retreat at Aloha before I go home. Was so tired today and woke up at 11sth today. Missed an opportunity to monitor the market and play contra today. Really wasted because today is one of the best day to play contra. Haiz.

Well, i'd only played contra on one stock and it didnt turn up well. Haha, maybe its jus luck. I dun haf luck in contra.

Anyway, Contel has reached an intra-day high of 0.29 today. Which is almost a 60% rise since i recommended buy last month. And I think its time to sell contel now...

And I think Advanced Holdings will fluctuate ard 60cents for the time being.. Adv has just secured a contract worth $8.7 million with Sinopec and PetroChina... And I think u guys should HOLD on to it now...

Well, I'll just keep my hands off from the market now as I think its about time for a major correction. Probably in September...

Maybe, I should create another blog to talk about investments.. Haha, nvm, I m trying to decrease readership in this blog. Since its a personal blog and u dunwan too many pple to read your personal blog rite... Jk jk.

Haiz, its Monday tmr... My Oh Shit Its Monday!!! sob.
I dislike working... But its better to strive hard now and enjoy later rather den to be slaves in our work when we are at our golden age... So, I should just complain less and strive hard, save more, enjoy later...

At least I dun hafta work OT in MAS...
Well, 2 more months before I can go back to sch again! lol... Sch is like a heaven to me (if there are no tests and exams)... I never enjoyed so much in school before... Maybe, its a blessing in disguise for me to be in SIM. My friends dun or seldom club, they talk crap etc etc, just like me...
And yupz, I'll just countdown to the day school starts...
I missed the days when we talk lotsa craps in car while going sch, go makan dur lunch and say die during exams <- well I hope it wont happen again... lol

I've been updating my blog for so long. And I dunno why there's seriously sth wrong wif my blog... Sometimes I cant navigate around in my blog... Wadeva..
Haf been quite busy recently... Juggling between work and CCA. Life's so routine. Wake up at 645am, leave house at 730am and start work at 830am. And finish work at 6pm.
And not forgetting the CCA meetings, the POEMS stock challenge game which we are organising... Haha... shagged...

Well, POEMS (Philips Securities) stock exchange game will be held from 2nd wk of September to mid October... As long as u r a university student in any of the 4 universities in Sgp, u can register for free. Its also open for people who have graduated this yr... I'll tell u guys when can u register... Please give your support ya... If u dunno wad stocks to buy, i can tell u... So dun worry if u dunno anything bout stocks... Well, as mentioned in the previous post, u can take a look at wad are some of the stocks to buy...

Advanced Holdings - close at 0.605 (+0.065) : Pr 0.265 in Feb when I recommended buy
Contel - close at 0.245 (+0.01) : Pr 0.175 2 wks ago when I recommended buy

Well, stocks these days are crazy, almost every small cap companies (making profit or losses)stock prices will rise like nobody's biz... But look and study carefully before buying. Because people are just gambling their money away in this bullish market. Probably a correction soon, and a major collapse within these 2 yrs... So I would advice everyone to put minimal money in the market now... Save your money to buy blue chips after the market collapse...

Ya and so sianz... YEN camp coming soon... next month. So much planning to do...
I just wan lotsa lotsa sleep... =(
But on the bright side, I've finished 'programming' the survey programme in my office... Yeah, I dun hafta stare at the computer tmr le.. Haha...

Well, my first week of work in MAS was alrite. But a bit boring.The offices in MAS was surprisingly quiet. Its like a library. Haha.

Well, I was chatting abt the stock market with my friend a few days ago and we were talking about the shares that we recommended last time...

Just to name a few,
JY's gd recommendations

Capitaland ( September 2006 )-I see Capitaland as a potential hot stock last September when Capitaland was trading at $3something. With their robust expansion and growth in China, this is definitely a good stock. And as expected, when STI rose about 30% from Sep 2006 till May2007, Capitaland rose about 110%. But the increase of 110% of its price was partly due to the real estate boom that occurred at the start of this year. But Capitaland is trading at ard $8 now... Which is quite expensive. Even if STI were to rise by another 30%, I doubt Capitaland will be able to match that increase.

Advanced Holdings ( Feb 2007 ) - This is one of the companies which I felt I can earn money if I invest in this stock. Ever since the stock split in May 2006, the share price of this stock has been decreasing. But their prospect is good. They secured a fuel contract in Nov 2006, and they're targeting on continued growth in oil, gas, petrochemical industries and new markets.But I just cant understand why their share price kept decreasing after the stock split. from 70+cents to 20+cents in February. And expected, undervalued small cap stocks are gaining some attention in the market recently. Advanced Holdings has risen to 50cents. Based on it's last closing price last Friday. Which is almost a 90% increase since February 2007. I expect Adv Hldgs to rise further to ard 60cents soon.

JY's bad choices

HL Asia (Nov 2006) - Then it was trading at around $1.60. Share price increased to around $2.17 before the February crash. During the 28feb crash, I panicked (as I was just a newby) and so... yupz.. it was sold at ard $1.90-$1.95 den... This stock is trading at $3+ currently.

Longcheer Holdings (May 2007) - It's price has been fluctuating between 60cents and 90cents... So i taught even thou, Longcheer gave a warning of a lower 3Q07 results, the price may still be fluctuating btwn 60-90cents based on technical analysis. But I was totally wrong... haha... Its still trading at 60+ cents now...

Stocks to look out for:

Contel ( June 2007 ) - Thou its revenue and profits has been rising steadily and STI increase steadily, their share price has been declining.. Which is weird.
Contel is also expanding into new markets such as Middle East and Russia after making successful inroads into the S American market. I can see growth in Contel, . With the appointment of experienced Mr. Arai Masaru, who has been with Sony Corp for more than 30 years. Contel is set to make itself a worldwide brand name sooner or later... The strong R&D team working in Contel also makes me confident that this is definitely the company to watch in the near future... It is definitely an undervalued stock currently.. Contel was trading at $0.18 a week ago. Its trading at $0.225 currently.

Well, I wanted to write about this cafe (Bliss Cafe) which we went last Saturday. The service there was... 'wow!' Haha. When the waiter came to our table with the food we ordered, he asked us who ordered this dish. So my parents pointed me.. So instead of putting the dish I ordered at the correct place (in front of me), he put it on my parent's table, expecting my dad to pass the plate to me... Wow!!! haha.. tt's so funnie.. I mean wad's the point of asking if he doesn't even bother to put it on my table?

Ok, I've got a confession to make... Ytd I had a sinful meal at Swensens... Haha. But I reallie can't stop my cravings for the yummylicious chicken baked rice. Lol. I had sticky chewy chocolate for dessert which is the sinful part. Luckily, the chocolate did not aggravate my sore throat...

Well, its 1 more wk before the start of my next paper... Stresssss... I dislike the last 2 papers... Its reallie a nightmare! Haha, Banking and management has been haunting me for the past few nights.. argh!

Anyway, on the bright side, I've completed my economics, statistics and maths paper.. Yeah!
Economics was alright, but I am worried that I may have got the multiplier wrong. Because that stupid multiplier will cost me 25 marks!!! F***

Statistics paper was torturous... Omg!!! That paper was reallie difficult...

And maths was easy but tideous.. Hopefully no careless mistakes!!! haha

Hopefully I am able to get more den 60 for the 3 papers tt I've taken - coz i tink its almost impossible for me to do well for the last 2 papers... Haha I think I'm expecting too much from myslf...

+, I dint do well for my previous papers too. I would describe it as 'disgustingly horrendous'... Haha...

It sux! Exams sux!
I miss party world, walking ard aimlessly, stoning in my room, and I miss travelling, aeroplanes etc etc. And I m definitely missing out on another air steward interview... Haha... Wadeva...

Luckily, I recovered from that stupid fever that attacked me on Friday. If not, I wouldnt have the chance to watch this high profile Singapore Vs Malaysia match.Pre-match trainingMe, Francis and Ryan. Dun ask me why I wear blue. Easy, Coz Singapore's ASEAN Cup jersey is blue in color. And yes! We won!!! Look at the estatic crowd! Fantastic!

The Kallang roar is back. The Kallang wave is back. Yeah!

Gosh, cough and sore throat reallie attack me at the wrong time.
I'm watching a concert tmr, watching Singapore Vs Malaysia at the National Stadium on Saturday, going my cousin's house on Sunday, Exco handing over/taking over on Monday, Full day of lesson on Tues and Squash session on Wednesday. Lessons on Thurs, And of coz, another soccer match at the National Stadium if Singapore reaches the finals.
And of coz, study, study and study...2 wks before my first paper starts. So reallie, I cant fall sick now... Please, cough cough go away!!!

I know I have not been updating for like eons! Yupz coz a series of things happen and I jus dun feel like doing anything, so yupz, forget bout blogging.

IST - SIN by Turkish Airlines...

Me @ Istanbul Ataturk Airport, will be taking A 330 aircraft...

Economy class leg space was surprisingly super spacious. Much more spacious den wad other well known airlines offer. But there is an in flight entertainment machine underneath every chair (beside my left leg) makes me feel uncomfortable

Seats were quite uncomfortable because its hard. and there is no head rest at the side of the seats.

In Flight entertainment screens were big. And you can select everything by touching the screen!
I'll give 3/5 for their in flight entertainment.

Food was horrible! The beef they served stinks! The potatoes they served taste wierd!

Flight was quite smooth.

And no playing cards available...

Overall, I'll rate Turkish Airlines as a 3 star airline.

Finally, I've completed my stats and econs and i'm left with one management assignment. I hate management. I hate wordy subjects! I just can't concentrate when I see lotsa words! Ok, I'll do my management essays on Wednesday. I'm too tired to do my hw now. It seems like there r magnets of opposite poles on my eyelid and eyebags. Yar, that's how tired I am.

Dint update last wk because I was quite busy. Busy wif friends gatherings and some personal admin thingy. And I still needa go sch. I dun haf sch hol in December lor!

Well, talking about personal admin thingy, haha sth interesting happened last wk. Coz I bought the car for the 10000km routine servicing. And when its ready, the counter staff called out my carplate number XXX1386. & The other lady walked towards her. Bish! I told the lady its my car but the lady insist that it was hers. It was like quite funny lor. I asked the counter staff agn if its XXX1386 den she said yes. Den the lady still say its her car. Den after some exchange of words, the lady finally found out that it was not her car. Coz she tot the staff called for the owner of XXX1385. haha onli 1 digit different. If I've gone toilet, and she paid up the cost of servicing, she could just drive my car away!

I know that there are people who love dogs. But I didn't know that to them, losing a dog is like losing their own child.
When my relative got hold of the news of his beloved dog went missing, he put his work aside, booked the next available flight from Hong Kong and flew back to Singapore to search for the dog.
He spent his next few days looking for the dog. He even posted an advertisement in the Straits Times. Well, someone responded to that advertisement but it turned out to be a scam. The person claims that he saw the dog somewhere and demanded $100 from my relative. I was flabbergasted when my relative gave him that amount and ask him to continue to look for the dog! Idiot lucky guy!

And yes, I drank some wine today. Actually its not reallie wine... Its some chocolately flavoured alcohol (17%) which I've 4gotten wat is it called... And I sux! As usual, blood from my whole body gushed up to my face and within seconds, I could feel my head spinning and see my face turning red.
I'm like getting from bad to worse. Last time, I used to be able to drink quite a bit of alcohol(Ya reallie a bit). However, nowadays, a few mouthful of alcohol makes me giddy and feel like puking! Haiz...
I reallie have phobia of drinking alcohol now manz!

Why? Why some people can drink so well? Why I just cant drink?

I noe roughly the cause of headache is due to dehydration. Yupz, alcohol causes dehydration in our body and therefore we'll feel our head thumping when we drink too much. But I just drank a few sips.... Does it mean that my body is always very very dry?

Its only a day of hapiness, and its back to reality again. CCA meetings + School! Sianz. Recap for what I did last week...

I did sth new on Wednesday, I went to have a game of squash with Shaun and Rubber they all. Hey, dun underestimate squash ok. It can tire u out easily. Its my first time playing squash. Its kinda fun.

& Yesterday I met up with my army camp mates. Its because Vincent just came back from HK... Yar, haha they're super rich kids lor. They spent $50 on food in Vila'ge... And den go starbucks for coffee and after that they went to some dunno what hotel to have some wine drinking session... I went home after drinking coffee with them at Starbucks... coz I dun wan to let history repeat itself. I rmb the last time I went to Pan Pacific Hotel to have a drink with them, sth bad happens... I shouldnt continue... Haha...

Today, I spent my whole day reading and doing Negab's assignment. The stupid essay! Haiz!!!

And that's how 'DULL' my life is...

I wasted my whole day sleeping! Shit... This is really bad.
Its time for me to wake up and start doing sth constructive...
First, IPPT. My IPPT window will open soon. And its time for me to train up... Hopefully, I'll be able to get gold and earn $400 from SAF. Haha. Actually, except for pull ups, the rest of the stations should not pose any problems to me. Yar shd be bah based on my fitness in sec sch and JC. haha. P.S. I dint take IPPT for 2 years already ( My unit auto pass me one, haha ).
I shall start doing push ups push up (train pull up) everyday, sit ups (train sit up obviously) tmr, Tues Hari Raya rest haha, Tennis on Wednesday, run up the stairs on Thurs and swimming on Fri.

I dragged myself to sch and tennis today... How I wish it's a holiday today manz! Why? Coz I was very tired this morning. I was praying hard that the PSI reach 100 at 2-3pm lor. So that they'll cancel tennis and I can go home and sleep. I was like a walking zombie lor!
I Slept late last nite coz I went to fetch my sis back from the airport,n at the same time, I send my super gd friend Jeff off. One shot kill 2 birds haha. And I woke up super early this morning coz I'm not driving to sch, and my Seng Kang friend's car got into a small accident yesterday. And Francis's car kena a serious accident the day before. And so, its back to taking MRT to sch again...
That explains why I was so tired today.

I guess I'll be even more tired on 7th Dec... Saw my timetable a few days ago...

I'm in a gloomy mood but something brighten up my day...

I stopped learning piano in sec 3 at grade 7 because I wanted to concentrate on my O levels. But after my O's, due to pure laziness and slackness, I dint continue with grade 8.
Last year, I picked up piano again. I wanted to complete grade 8 so that I can teach - to earn extra $..of coz. So I began to attend piano lessons since last December...But my hectic schedule prevents me from practicing much.
Jan - duty medic once every 3 days....
Feb - went Hong Kong
Mar - Started work in IRAS
Apr - July - Started work in OCBC (u nvr noe hw tiring working OT can be until u step into OCBC haha.)
August - Went Philippines and sch starts
And guess what... I got 116, 4 points away from getting merit! Fuck, wasted. Its definitely due to my lack of confidence in the oral part and my kancheongness when playing the scales - he asked for the scales in section A, I too kancheong, I played the scales in section B!

At least I achieve something during my 2 yrs 2 months in army. haha. A driving licence and grade 8 in piano.

Ok, next hurdle... achieve something in university! Jiayou Jiaye!

And hopefully, I can lift myslf up and get over with this depressive mood soon...

I checked my accounts today and was shocked that Yamaha actually deducted $$ from my account. Fuck! I terminate my lessons le lor. Still deduct. Called them up and they say they can refund it to me immediately. But I hafta make a trip to Dhoby Ghaut! Alternatively, I can wait patiently for their cheque which will take 2 months for them to send it to me! Ya, people haf been asking me, 'hey jiaye, your birthday is round the corner, how r u gg to celebrate your 21st b'day?'

When I was young, I'll get rather excited. Because birthday means no school, no hw, presents and yah, everyone treats you nicely. But at this ripe age of 20 now, and soon to be, 21, birthday to me is just another day of my life. There is really nothing much to look forward to. No sch? so what. No hw? So what. Presents? Well, seriously, its the presence of each and everyone's heart to wish me happy birthday matters more den presents. But of coz, I still hope to receive presents from those who are close to me! Oops. I had my 1st tennis CCA session yesterday. It was quite enjoyable... Training was from 3-5 but we extended our play for another hour. So its 3hrs of tennis! Guess what? I was extremely lethargic after tt. Haha, lucky I dint buy tickets beforehand to watch Singapore against China. I wouldnt have the energy to even drive all the way down to the National Stadium.
Well, Singapore did well, managed to hold China to a 0-0 draw. U see, after Radojko Avramovic became the coach of Singapore, Singapore improved significantly. Hopefully, he'll be able to guide Sgp to AFC finals...
Anyway, who is interested to learn golf? I wanna learn.... Or who can teach me... Calling once, calling twice... haha... I reallie wanna learn how to play golf.

Yeah, I'm back again. Back from Malaysia. Haha, our usual drive to Malaysia to makan! Yum yum.
But, this time, I dint enjoy myself. I picked the wrong day to go there. Well, there is sth wrong wif my stomach. Nope, I dint drink (in case u dunno again, I can't drink) and I did not eat anything hot (in case u dunno, I can't eat chilli, ) Allergic lah!.. What happen den? No idea.

1) Like that day, while driving to sch, it suddenly rained, every car on the road is travelling at a super slow pace, as though they just had pork lard for lunch. I wanted to go KAP for Mac Drive thru to get some food (super hungry) but dint, coz I was late liao! Haiz...

2) I went NUS to fetch my gf home. Wanted to park in the carpark. But the barrer refuses to operate!

3) My laptop dunno tio virus or wad. Always got so many stupid advertisement pop out one. Well, I'm a computer idiot! so I dunno anything!

4) And, I dunno y, I have insomnia almost everyday! And I'll feel so tired in the afternoon. I am becoming a ghost - comes out at nite, slp dur the day!

So, let me express my heartfelt words to all my teachers!! I wanna thanks all my teachers who experienced the misfortune of teaching me in their class. Yes... I m serious...

I muz say that I'd reallie changed a lot... From a noisy fucker in JC to a quiet guy in University... Yar, can't believe rite... Haha, let me recall my gd old days in Cat High 1st...

Haha, super naughty, esp sec 3. Chess and Poker Cards dominate my class. With Eng teacher on maternality leave, Chinese teacher on long term MC, we played chess and cards in class during those lessons.. Ya, serious! and guess what, I still emerge top in class even though my average was only 50... Haha... Coz the whole class failed English...(I'm still a gd student ya? lol) And surprisingly, I passed... Haha. Oh ya, my chess skills improved substantially that year. Nt just me... Whole class...Even tables r being vandalised.. Some one draw chess board on it lor.

Sec 4. I was just rotting in cls. Did nothing, nvr hand in assignments, kick soccer in class... until the ball flew out of the window and hit a car! Haha oops... Pon CCA, until the teacher in charge got so pissed off and kbkb to my mom... Well, the teacher in charge is actually my uncle!

JC1... I was lucky... Coz I wasnt retained. Coz I copied my friend's answer in Econs test... Long story... Shant continue. Slp in lecture... can slp from 730am till 12pm one lor... Super!

JC2... Reality hurts.... Mid yr... Fail Physics, Fail Econs, Fail Maths... Die le la... Meet the parents... Teachers complain complain complain...What can I do? huh? I still remember what my Physics teacher said... 'Look at him, 6percentile! Never listen in class, dunno what he's doing. He's going to fail Physics in A levels.' Wah! I haven take A levels lor. I dislike

1) people who switch the ringing tone of hp in the MRT (hp no vibrator meh)
2) people who switch on their hp radios in MRT (u so poor until no $ buy earpiece arh)
3) people who refuse to stand on the left side of the escalator (I jus feel like kicking your ass down the escalator)
4) people who smokes (A lot of people jus dunno how to read the NO SMOKING sign. Toilet oso smoke... Coffee shop oso smoke... And smoke liao still got the smell of the smoke in your mouth den come and speak to me. Fuck!)
5) I just dislike people who are inconsiderate.

I have been in a bad mood recently. Really bad mood. I need something to cool myself down. How? Stress arh.

You notice that I seldom talk about my own personal life in my blog. But now, I am telling every1 that I am stressed.

That's why its time to take a break to relax myself. I really dun wish to argue with anyone anymore. So everyone, pls talk to me in a nice way ok? If not I'll really feel irritated because I really dislike people who speak to me like scolding me.

Okay, I did something different today. I dunno isit due to my hey-wired brain cells that makes me behaving so wierd recently. Usually, I would ignore beggars and those less fortunate or handicapped selling big sweep or tissue papers. But today, dunno what came to my mind, I actually felt that I should do something to help them.
And so, I bought something from the wheelchaired-bound person today. He was so delighted. And I was so glad that I make another person in the world smile.

I cant make myself smile for whatever undisclosed reason. So, I'll make other pple smile. Isnt what I always did to my friends??? Haha.

Anw, I'll be taking a short break at the end of the month. I'll be going Manila! Yar why Manila?
Because I really can't think of any other country to go to. I mean for a short trip.
Because Asia is so small that I think I covered almost every country that I want to go liao. Haven covered the Phillippines yet....

Quite disappointed because I will probably not go New Zealand at the end of the year - probably must wait till next June le. Because I have only ard a week of holiday break. That wont be enough.

I suggested 2 other countries to my dad
1)Turkey. We were suppose to go Turkey last year but due to some unforeseen circumstances, we decided to go Switzerland instead.
2)Czech Republic. I had heard people saying how nice Czech is... And yeah that's why I wanna visit Czech Rep.

See, a lot of people haven really draw up their life plans... Ok dun say about life plans.. They dun even plan of things that may have a big impact on their lives.

I am a lucky person I noe. I dont have to worry about this and that. Everything is so well planned for me. I do not have to worry about shortage of cash because I just take whatever amount from my parents last time. I dont have to worry about everything really. I always got what I wanted. But I think growing up in this kind of environment is making me a spoilt kid.
Yes I am indeed lucky. I nvr fail in my life. Lets talk about things that happen recently... Sec 4 prelims. I got L1R5 36 points. The real O levels, I surprised everyone by getting a raw score of 11. I got into the committee of my CCA in JC... after 1 wk of joining the CCA. Crazy rite? Yes, I nvr fail... I want a 8-5 job in army.. I got it. I want an admin job in army ( I am pes A lor.. chong sua one) I got it surprisingly... and I applied for IRAS and I got it. I applied for OCBC and I got it. The only thing I fail.. and a major one... is getting only a reasonable result in my A levels. Although its a significant improvement compared to my prelims, it is still not gd enuff. And this impact may really affect me for the rest of my life.
So now, the only way to change my future is.. only... to work hard in university. And I should start now.

Haiz, been so so freaking busy these days. So occupied with so many bloody things. And so many people ask me out. So many things not done.

Notre Dame. This famous gothic Cathedral took 200 years to construct! Its a must go!! Because the cathedral is very beautiful.
Louvre Museum. Its so so so big that U cant finish looking thru all their art exhibits in one full day!
The pyramid was designed by some Chinaman if I'm not wrong.Arc De Triumph @ Champs Elysees. The arch was to commemorate Napoleon's victories. The Arc De Triumph was completed by Louis Philippe.

France is really a very very nice city.. I mean, a city with beautiful buildings, a city with artistic cultures.. I will definitely visit France again - if I haf the $ and time. Haha.

Living @ France:

Cost of Living - Damn expensive. A Mcdonald Value meal cost S$12+ and usually, a meal cost ard S$20. But hey, there is this place in Paris City - called Montmarte - where u can get yr meals at a cheaper price. ard S$10+

Transport - Transport fare is reasonable. ard S$1+ per ride. Coz transport fares is heavily subsidised by their govt. Their subway lines are so so so confusing. There are so many lines. So be extra cautious.

Exchange rate: 1Euro = S$2

My dept has 4 person. incl me. One of them has a gf in another dept, so he eats lunch with her. The other one got her own lunch grp. All Malays. The last one is my boss liao. So sometimes, I'll makan with him... And most of the time, I eat by myslf... Pathetic hor.

I'm now doing sth that all Singaporeans love to do - complain complain and complain...

I just came back after having dinner with my parents in some restaurant at Raffles Hotel. I forgot the name of the restaurant I went to but it resembles the Hippopotamus Restaurant in Paris.

1) Ok back to Raffles Hotel. Got lotsa comment on Raffles Hotel.
No doubt that it is one of the best hotels in Singapore. But I tell u, the toilets... CANNOT MAKE IT! Ok, its not that bad actually compared to those in shopping ctrs... Its just that I have high expectations.

2) I am damn pissed off today. I am damn pissed off!! My dad's Sony Ericsson fone is spoilt. My sis brought it for servicing a few days ago. She waited for 1+ hr before her number was called. 1+ hr( to send the fone for repairing ) plus 1+ hr (for collecting the phone ). And it spoilt again one day after servicing. And this time, I brought the fone for servicing. I waited for 2 hrs jus to wait for my number to be called at Sony Ericsson service centre. Wah piang! 2 hrs leh.
Bloody long lor. Its not that I am doing my shopping at Orchard today, nor that I am playing pool or wadsoever lor. I mean, such a big company like Sony rite, can employ more staffs to cater to the needs of the customer... Yah we NEED shorter waiting time!

3) Recently cigerrettes like very cheap hor. Fucking hell. Everyone seems to be smoking at every single part of Orchard Road. Smoke so nice to smell meh. Why not save your money and go and smell the 'aeroma' of the car exhaust pipe. Like what the opposition says in the previous election.. How to give more health care subsidies... GO AND INCREASE THE TAX FOR TOBACCO... INCREASE THE PRICE OF A PACK OF CIGERETTES. Cant survive without cigerettes? Go and smell the exhaust pipe instead!

I must say that I'm quite lucky to get my current job. I'll treasure my chance and prove my worth there, though, I can only stay there for a short while - I'll probably working in this industry in the future.
Why I say I'm quite lucky to get this job:
1) When I applied to OCBC, I do not have any work experience.
2) I submitted a resume to the bank. And I was quite surprised but delighted that they actually called me up for an interview
3) My supervisor is good.

Why I brought up this topic?
Well
I'd got this friend who wanted - so badly - to work in a bank, submitted his resume to UOB, OCBC, DBS, Standard Chartered, Citibank, Bank of India, Bank of China, Hong Leong Finance, Singapura Finance and all the finance/bank related firms that u can find in Sgp. But he did not get any reply. I do not know what really happen. I think I was reallie lucky manz.

Must make use of this chance of working in the bank to learn more things.. haha

Though demanding and tiring, I enjoy working there. Looking forward to working with OCBC again in the future....I mean, aft my unis...

Well, for Pasir Ris Punggol constituency, SDA secured 31% of the votes... PAP, 68%
Would I have a chance to vote in the next election? I dunno. Hopefully, i'll be able to.
Well, a few points I want to point out to whichever party's candidates.
1) During rallies, u need to capture the people's attention by so called communicating with people in your speech. Dun give a presentation. Election is about speech.
2) Give out newsletters at MRT stations as a team.
3) Deliver newsletters to our house.

Places I went to in HKG: Avenue of Stars, Victoria Peak, Snoopy World, Space Museum, Cultural Ctr, Repulse Bay, Aberdeen, Stanley, Mong Kok, Ladies St, Mosque St, Causeway Bay, Wang Cai, Bank of China, HSBC Bank, Tsim Tsa Tsui, etc etc.

Hong Kong Trip review: Hong Kong wasnt as fun as I had expected. Maybe my expectation is too high. Well, Hong Kong is just like Singapore... Just that instead of speaking English, they speak Cantonese. Shops are opened till as late as 12am! 11pm and u can still see people shopping @ their busiest shopping district.

Standard of living there is about the same as Sgp's. But a proper meal (eg chicken rice) can cost u at least S$5 (Sgp, u can get it conveniently at $2.50). Trains and bus fares are about the same as Singapore. They have this Octupus Card where u can use it almost everywhere... Take a bus, take a train, take a cable car, pay for the things you buy at 7-11 etc etc.. Just like Sgp's EZ Link card.

Hotel is about S$110-S$130 per nite @ a 3 star hotel. Hostel I wd recommend YWCA. Its ard S$40 per person per nite. Air conditioned.

3D4N stay wd be enough if u wan to go there for a short shopping trip.

5D4N stay wd be enough if u want to cover Disneyland, Ocean park and the rest of HKG.

6D5N stay is enough if u wan to cover Disneyland, OceanPark and ShenZhen.

Airfare: Flying by Jet star is still the cheapest way to get u from SGP to HKG. But book early and look out for discount. Becoz for $300, U can get a flight from SGP to HKG by Cathay or Northwest. SGP Airlines is ard $100+ more ex den cathay and Northwest.

Peak season: August - HKG shopping festival... Well, depends on you lah. I prefer to go dur Nov - Mar season because hotel there is cheaper dur off peak, and weather is cooler.

Remember, Hong Kong is just like Singapore. U can travel on your own. A map will do. There are plenty of HKG maps at HKG airport. Dun worry, u wont get lost... Even if u want to travel to ShenZhen, its damn easy lor.

Overall, I wd rate this trip 7/10.

Yah, so sad. Because I reallie enjoyed myself working at IRAS. No Monday blues, no worries at all! Working environment there - at my dept - is great. I got to know quite a number of great friends there.

I will be going OCBC Tampines Branch for an interview tmr. Hopefully, I'll be able to get a job at OCBC. It has always been my dream to work in the bank, so hopefully, everything goes well.
